The new expansion of crystalline silicon solar cells Solar to meet the needs of European outsourcing

Taiwan-based crystalline silicon (c-Si) solar battery  manufacturers of new solar energy technology company (Neo Solar Power, referred to as NSP) to expand its annual production capacity to 800MW to meet the outsourcing needs of the European market. NSP’s existing annual production of 240MW. Since the fourth battery quarter of 2009, production has already reached saturation, the company has drawn up preliminary plans for increasing production is expected to be in the second quarter of 2010 will be increased output 180MW.

Demand increases and in 2010 made the foreseeable surge in orders for NSP’s decision in 2010 to increase its output to 600MW. However, the battery  face of the European PV manufacturing market continued growth in demand, NSP final decision on its production in 2010 increased to 800MW.

NSP company said it will be drawn up before the output from 360MW to 600MW to mention the plan is expected to spend about 27 billion new Taiwan dollars (about 84.5 million U.S. dollars); while the addition of 200MW project will be consumed nearly 1.4 billion Taiwan dollars (about 43.8 million U.S. dollars) in battery capital investment. The company plans to increase science and technology park located in Hsinchu, Taiwan (Hsinchu Science Park, Taiwan), the No. 2 plant began, the plant’s nameplate rated output of 680MW.

NSP’s recently announced first two months of 2010, revenue reached 1.879 million Taiwan dollars (about 58.8 million U.S. dollars), up the  battery previous year increased by 51%. The company’s product shipments in 2009 reached 200MW, is expected to reach 400 this year, shipments to 500MW.

NSP will also committed to improving the battery in 2010, the average conversion efficiency, the company plans to multi-crystalline solar cells, the average conversion battery efficiency of 17.2%, while single crystal solar cells, the average conversion efficiency of 18.5%.
